Smart Crack Detection Monitoring System

An innovative research solution for automated structural crack detection and measurement. Transforming building inspections with intelligent image analysis.

How It Works

Simple three-step process for crack analysis

1

Upload Image

Capture and upload photos of walls, floors, or any structural surface.

2

Automatic Analysis

The system detects cracks and calculates measurements automatically.

3

Get Report

Download a detailed PDF report with JKR classification and recommendations.

Research & Innovation

Grant-Funded Research Project

ReTect is developed by a multidisciplinary team of lecturers from Politeknik Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah, led by Jabatan Kejuruteraan Awam with collaboration from Jabatan Teknologi Maklumat and Jabatan Kejuruteraan Elektrik.

This research initiative aims to provide engineers and building inspectors with accessible tools for early crack detection and assessment, contributing to safer infrastructure maintenance practices.
